1. What We Collect
To operate ForeverAhead, we collect: account details you give us directly (name, email); the content you create (video messages, captions, prompts, personal notes); recipient and trusted-contact details you provide (name, email, relationship, date of birth where relevant to delivery); and basic technical data needed to run the service (device/browser type, access timestamps). We do not collect more than the Platform needs to function. We do not use tracking cookies or sell data to advertisers — see our Cookie Policy for the full list of what we do use.
2. How We Use It
Your data is used only to: create and deliver your messages according to the schedule you set; let recipients and trusted contacts you've named access what you intended for them; secure your account and detect abuse of the Platform; and communicate with you about your account or messages. We do not use your message content for marketing, model training, or any purpose beyond delivering it as you configured it.
3. Who Can See Your Content
Only you and your designated recipient(s) can ever view a message's content. Not even ForeverAhead staff can watch your videos. Trusted contacts you name can control *when* a message releases, under an "If I'm Gone" or manual-release delivery setting, but cannot view its content unless they are also the intended recipient. We never sell, rent, or share your personal content with third parties for their own purposes.
4. Security & Storage
We design our storage and delivery systems with the same care we'd want for our own family's messages, and we'll publish the specifics of our encryption and infrastructure here once they're independently verified rather than simply asserted. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have questions about our current security practices before trusting us with a message, contact [email protected] — we'd rather tell you honestly where things stand than overstate them.
5. Your Rights
You may, at any time: export all of your messages and data; request correction of inaccurate account details; request deletion of your account and associated content, subject to messages already released to a recipient; and withdraw consent for optional data such as a recipient's date of birth. 6. Data Retention
We retain your content for as long as your account is active and your delivery schedules require. If you cancel a paid plan, your messages are frozen (not deleted) for 12 months, giving you time to export or re-subscribe. After that period, or upon a deletion request, content is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days.
7. International Transfers
ForeverAhead is based in the United Kingdom. Where data is processed outside the UK or European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, consistent with UK GDPR requirements.
8. Children's Privacy
ForeverAhead is not directed at children under 16. Recipients of messages may be of any age, including children — but the account holder creating and managing messages on their behalf must be an adult.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email before they take effect.
